Our ecosystem
Our impact approach is based on the GIIN IRIS+ principles, the generally accepted framework for measuring, managing and optimizing impact. We regularly update our actual impact metrics through impact reports on our website.
Low in fat and rich in proteins, carbohydrates, minerals, vitamins (A, C, E) and essential micronutrients (iodine, zinc, iron), seaweed has an unexplored potential to contribute to the food system, being a source nutritional value of food for humans, food for aquaculture and terrestrial animals and fertilizers for crops.
We have a line of health supplements and skincare products that support the internal (gut) and external (skin) immune system. We also work with medical universities on research into Alzheimer's, obesity, diabetes and the safety of seaweed-based proteins.
Driven by one of our principles, we work intensively with local coastal communities to operate our farms. We also implemented a Seaweed Valorization Model so that coastal communities become more independent and resilient.

Seaweed solutions are circular in nature. We are committed to operating a regenerative, nature-positive value chain with a minimal or zero waste footprint. Seaweed-based products provide numerous benefits for humans, animals, soil and plants. Switching to seaweed alternatives reduces the need for existing fossil fuel-rich processes and production.
Our farm currently absorbs around 450 tons of CO2 per year. Our PhycusAgro biostimulant increases soil organic carbon (SOC) content by up to 15 to 25% over 3 years, as well as replacing fossil fuel-based fertilizers and pesticides. Our animal supplements have recently shown improved feed conversion ratio (FCR) in pigs, cows and poultry by at least 10%, significantly reducing feed consumption.
The management of agricultural farms in Parati, Rio de Janeiro - Brazil, contributes to the recovery of coastal and oceanic areas. Its growth requires only sunlight and natural marine nutrients. Biomass actively removes excess nutrients from eutrophic areas and mitigates ocean acidification. While growing, seaweed also provides a habitat for marine life and enriches marine biodiversity.
